Shape it point by point
Click to add a point, drag to move it, double-click to remove it. Bend any segment into a curve, or hold Shift and draw freehand. The grid snaps to the beat for rhythmic shapes.

Teaser
Normal & Advanced
The panels step aside. A visualizer moves with your track, a big preset selector sits under your hands, and RANDOM deals a new sound in one click. Perfect when you want to write, not program.
Click ADVANCED and the full engine slides open. Six pages sit along the top: Synth, Mod Matrix, Effects, Arp, SHATTER and Breed. The Time Machine stays in view on every one of them.
3,000 presets
Every preset is filed three ways. Pick a tab, pick a category, then flip through with the arrows or let RANDOM choose for you.
What the sound is: Bass, Lead, Pad, Pluck, Keys, Acoustic, Chord, Arp, Seq, Bell, Brass, Strings, Vox, Atmosphere, FX, Drums, Granular, Spectral…
The music it was made for: House, Techno, Trance, EDM, Synthwave, Disco & Funk, Hip-Hop & Trap, Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Ambient, Cinematic, Pop, Lo-Fi, Acid, Electro.
The mood or the record it recalls: Acid Squelch, Big Room Drop, Cold Wave, Cosmic Laser, Detroit Machine, Disco Strut, Future Noir, Night Drive and many more.

Stuck? Press RANDOM and Revolution deals a preset. Don't like it, press again. It's the fastest way to stumble on the sound your track was missing.
Click the padlock and RANDOM and the arrows stay inside the category you chose. Lock Pad and you only get pads, lock Synthwave and every throw of the dice stays in the 80s.
Search by name or tag, filter with tags like Mono, Unison, Slow Attack or Wide, star your favorites, and audition with the arrow keys while you scroll.
Visualizers
In Normal mode the screen is a visualizer that listens to what you play. Step through them with the arrows in the top corner. Each one takes the colours of your skin.
Photo visualizer
Drop in any JPG, PNG or GIF and Revolution redraws it in time with what you play. Pick an effect, set how hard it reacts, and your cover art, logo or photo becomes the visualizer.

Choose The Touch skin and Revolution turns black and gold. In Normal mode the visualizers make way for four hand-made scenes that play along with you.

Eight skins, one sound
Choose a skin from the menu next to SAVE, your choice is remembered. Try them here.

SHATTER
SHATTER slices what you play in time with the track and throws glitch effects at it, step by step. Draw on the rings, hit DICE, and a held pad turns into a beat.
Draw on a ring to light steps, right-click to clear it. Up to 16 steps on a 1/16 grid, or any other division. The centre pad switches SHATTER on.
DICE writes a new pattern, EVOLVE changes it a little at a time, WIPE clears it, HOLD freezes it while you play. Eight pattern slots to switch between.
Slice, Chaos, Backwards and Mix shape the effect, Shatter Mix blends it with the dry sound.
Breed
Pick two parents, set the mutation and press BREED. Eight children are born, each one test-played and level-matched, with a DNA bar that shows which genes came from A, which from B, and which mutated.
Live
The new LIVE page puts eight presets on eight pads. Switch between them from your computer keyboard or a MIDI note, without stopping the music. Turn on Complex and the pads change by themselves, right on the beat.
Pump
That breathing, ducking movement of dance music, without routing a kick to a compressor. Pump sits with the effects and moves your sound in time with the host.

Multiband
The new MULTIBAND page splits your sound into three bands. Drag the lines to set the crossovers, drag the bars to set each level, and give every band its own colour.
Time Machine
Slide it back and the whole synth ages with it: tape, 12-bit converters, rave samplers, the colour of the gear of each era. Press NOW to come straight back to today. It sits at the top of every page, so you can try it on any sound.

Custom LFO
Each of the four LFOs can play a shape you draw yourself. Open the editor, sketch it, and the sound follows the line. Then drag the cross onto any knob to modulate it.
Click to add a point, drag to move it, double-click to remove it. Bend any segment into a curve, or hold Shift and draw freehand. The grid snaps to the beat for rhythmic shapes.
Draw a closed shape and a dot runs round it. Its height drives the LFO, its left-right position drives a second source, LFO X. Send them to cutoff and pan, and a single orbit moves both in a way no classic LFO can.

Filters
Two filters, each with 12 types modelled on the circuits behind the classic sounds. Run them in series to sculpt, or in parallel to blend two characters. Push the drive and they growl, open the resonance and the acid diode screams.
LP24, LP12, BP, HP. Warm 70s mono bass and leads.
The squelchy acid line sound.
LP, BP, HP, Notch. Clean and precise for pads and keys.
Metallic, flanged and plucked tones.
Vowel sounds that make a synth talk.
Cutoff, resonance, drive, envelope, keytrack, mix.
And more

16 slots, each with source, amount and destination, next to the four macros.

A 16-step pattern with gate and accent per step, swing, octaves and latch.
Distortion, compressor, Juno-style chorus, phaser, delay, reverb, tape, EQ and Pump, all on one page.
Drop a .vital or .SerumPreset file and play it, wavetables and macros included.
Wavetable, granular with your own samples, spectral with up to 96 partials, sampler.
